Vobsub install has stopped working

I get up to the part of the installation where is asks you to select the directory where VirtualDub is installed. I downloaded a new VobSub installer and still got. I downloaded a new VobSub installer and still got the same message. Am I doing something wrong? Is there another program that I can use with Xvid and VirtualDub to put subtitles on some video files?

If you have an answer can you please make it easy to understand? I am not too good with computers. Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Are you getting any error messages either before or after command prompt windows closes? Are you able to use Windows Updates? You have confirmed the Windows Modules installer service is not disabled? Right-click the "Windows Modules Installer" service, and select Properties.

Select General tab - make sure that Startup type is Manual. The Windows Installer program on my computer Windows Vista OS has stopped working for some reason and I can no longer install any software. Basically what happens when I try running any. If I try to open the files from the cmd window, I'm given a message saying the 'program is too big to fit in memory'. I've tried many different solutions across a couple of different forums and none have worked.

Outside of MP there is no problem at all, it simply works. However on embedded subtitles. MKV the button responds with the language choosen but never shows any subs. Anyone else has this problem or am I the only one? Lasborg Portal Member. January 23, 25 1 Home Country Denmark. I have the exact same problem. I seem to be having this problem too.

I played around a little bit. I found that if I ticked the "Show Subtitles" box in config, then subtitles would automatically be shown for both.

If I didn't have the filter, I never got the option for subs. Changing the settings of Haali didn't seem to make much difference. Removing it accordingly I find it illogical to add directvobsub and then after that you have to enable it on a new extra tab in configuration again.. Cella Portal Member. August 8, 7 1. Where exactly is this new extra tab in configuration?
