Locate the thermostat housing at the point where the radiator hose meets the engine block. Remove the clamp from that end of the hose and pull the hose off. Unbolt the two 10mm bolts on either side of the thermostat housing and remove the housing cover.

In an Acura Integra, it may be necessary to remove the top of the intake manifold to better access these bolts. Take out the old thermostat. Take note of the position of the thermostat. Seat the new thermostat and gasket in the housing in the exact same position as the old one.
